You ARE what you EAT

It isn't just a cute phrase. What we ingest makes us who we are. While it’s commonly known that the food we eat affects our height, weight and even our complexion, a far lesser-known fact is that what we eat, and even inhale, can also affect our behavior.

Food additives and artificial fragrances are everywhere. Their effects are clear to those who stop and take notice. Their introduction into foods we consume and the indoor air we breathe has been nothing less of insidious.

The purpose of this site is to educate everyone on the very real effects that certain foods, food additives and even fragrances can have on human behavior. Those who have children should pay particular attention to this site.

AllergicBehaviors.com was started by a concerned mom who made the startling and eye-opening discoveries regarding the effects of food additives and artificial fragrances on her own child. As this site grows, you will read not only about the adverse effects and what the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries are doing, but ways to control and even counteract them.
