The 24th Century...
in the palm of your hand.

That's the idea behind Pocket LCARS.

Ever since Captain Jean-Luc Picard first stepped foot on the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D for the first time on television, Star Trek fans have been fascinated by the computer interface developed by scenic artist Michael Okuda called LCARS (pronouned EL-karz) which stands for Library Computer Access and Retrieval System.

What is Pocket LCARS?
Pocket LCARS is a suite of skins for your Windows Mobile device. It includes:

PADD
Skins the Today Screen with capabilities far beyond simple Today Screen functions. Requires WisBar Advance Desktop 2, Windows Mobile 5 or higher touchscreen device
Pocket LCARS AddOn

A note from the creator of Pocket LCARS

I'm asking for donations for the time and expense of developing and supporting Pocket LCARS products. Up to this point, I've left the amount of the donation completely up to the visitor. I believe in the spirit of paying what's fair for products and services. However, there are an alarming number of members of society (who by the way seem to be visiting here) who believe in "smash and grab." They've made donations of a penny. I see none of this amount as Pay Pal takes a percentage. Since you cannot see a perccentage of a penny, I get none of it.

I have given the matter a lot of thought and I see no reason to punish everyone for the acts of others. Therefore, I have deceided to create a "Wall of Shame" for those individuals who abuse the system in this manner by posting their names, e-mail addresses and the amount of their contribution.

I'm not out to rip anyone off and I am not asking for a lot. Be sure to visit the Wall of Shame to see who earned a place there and be sure to note their donation amount. I think you'll immediately see where I'm coming from on this matter.

I would rather not have had to resort to this practice, but I think fair is fair.
